Olvera Street | Best LA Wedding Minister

Located just north of Downtown Los Angeles, Olvera Street is a great historic wedding venue. As the best LA wedding minister (I hope), I’ve officiated thousands of weddings and some wedding locations just stick in your mind. Olvera Street is one of those. Always bustling with activity, it’s a fantastic place to experience LA-Mexican culture and to celebrate your wedding day. Olvera Street was the original settlement in what became Los Angeles. Although its days as the center of the Spanish and then Mexican colonial town are long past, it keeps the tradition alive with a jumble of activity. Mexican restaurants, street vendors, and souvenir shops line its promenade, and you can often catch events including live music at its central gazebo. Walking down Olvera Street, you’re greeted with colors and smells. In the vendor kiosks you’ll find all sorts of trinkets, ranging from Mexican flags to specialty candies. Santa Barbara Courthouse | Best Santa Barbara Wedding Minister

As a Santa Barbara wedding minister, I’ve been all around the county at the city’s most beautiful wedding venues. But my favorite still is the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Just off of Santa Barbara’s highly walkable State Street, with its Spanish-style architecture and its preponderance of unique little shops and restaurants, is the magnificently designed Courthouse. Someone once called it the most beautiful place in American where you can be sentenced to death. But while capital punishment is currently on a moratorium in California, you can experience the flipside of that coin by getting married there. Santa Barbara is known for its prevalence of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. All throughout the city you’ll find homes, storefronts, apartment complexes, and government buildings reminiscent of the city’s old Spanish mission, with red-tiled roofs and white and beige walls. But few of these rival the beauty and grandiosity of the Courthouse.   The Courthouse CLICK HERE to read More By Clicking Here. . .

Bel-Air Bay Club | Top Pacific Palisades Wedding Minister

As a Pacific Palisades wedding minister, I’ve worked with beautiful Bel-Air Bay Club plenty of times. Above the event center are the lush hills and stunning homes of Pacific Palisades, below are beaches that continue for miles in either direction. The Bel-Air Bay Club, situated on a bluff overlooking Pacific Coast Highway as it winds parallel to the coastline, offers views of it all at its prime location in Pacific Palisades. Built at the end of the Roaring Twenties, the Bel-Air Bay Club has a long history in Los Angeles’ social scene. With red-tiled roofs and a whitewashed exterior it’s reminiscent of the Spanish colonial style, one of the last remaining of its kind that were once so abundant in throughout LA. Their spacious lawns, overlooking the sea and the Santa Monica skyline, are the perfect locations to hold your wedding ceremony.
