Rancho Los Alamitos – Long Beach Wedding Minister

NOTE: We have been informed by the Rancho Los Alamitos staff that private weddings are no longer permitted there.

As a Long Beach wedding minister, I have gotten to know the city well. One of my favorite Long Beach wedding venues is the calm and secluded Rancho Los Alamitos The Rancho was built in the early 19th century during the late Spanish rule of the area. At one time, the Rancho was given authority over nearly all of Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Garden Grove, and Stanton. Today, the Rancho is confined to a humble hill in the center of a quiet Long Beach neighborhood, reminding visitors of simpler times. The original ranch house still stands today, enveloped by tree-lined courtyards and lush gardens.

The gardens are a memory of what once was ample in the Los Angeles basin. Standing apart from the ostentatious gardens cultivated by the Los Angeles elite of the early 20th century, the Rancho Los Alamitos Gardens display a more authentic natural scene of pre-settlement Long Beach.

Entering the ranch house, you will be greeted by architecture that is characteristic of the Spanish-Mexican era of California. The Rancho Los Alamitos is a Southern LA wedding venue filled to the brim with history and it provides an elegant backdrop to any civil wedding in Los Angeles. As a Long Beach wedding minister, I would be more than happy to take part in your ceremony at the Rancho.
