Officiant Guy was recommended to KTLA Morning News on Channel 5 when they were looking for wedding officiants. After a meeting with their producers, Chris was asked to be the main wedding officiant for the non-religious wedding ceremonies that were planned. It all happened during their Week of Weddings in Los Angeles for the week of Valentine’s Day in February, 2014. He was asked to officiate the weddings of Felipe and Lissa on February 11, 2014 and the same-sex wedding of Conchita and Lisa on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.

These weddings were performed on the KTLA lot. It was actually a set in the parking lot of KTLA. The other wedding ministers on the show that week were the actual church pastors of the other couples. Chris was also asked to be a backup to those wedding officiants in case they were not available.

A Great Testimonial from a Celebrity

This was not the first time that Chris was on the KTLA lot. He also was the wedding officiant for a wedding on The Divorce Court. In fact, when Chris was walking on the lot meeting with the KTLA Morning News producers he passed Divorce Court Judge Lynn Toler. She called out, “Hi Chris,” when passing, She then said to the Morning News producers, “Oh, you’ll love him.” That’s a great testimonial to Officiant Guy‘s professionalism.
