Seal Beach Pier – Orange County Wedding Officiant

As an Orange County Wedding Officiant, I have seen Seal Beach grow from a quiet seaside town to a popular destination surfers, beachgoers, and sightseers. Luckily, its expansion has not been a detriment to its charm. Walking down Seal Beach’s restaurant-lined Main Street, its perennial quaintness is still in abundance.

Perhaps the center of Seal Beach – both in a geographical and sightseeing sense – is the Seal Beach Municipal Pier. Where Main Street meets, the water, the Pier begins. Taking a stroll to the end of the Pier, you can look out to panoramic views in every direction: Downtown Huntington Beach to your left, the Long Beach skyline to your right, and the sun-kissed ocean seemingly boundless straight ahead.

Can You Get Married at Disneyland?

Can you get married at Disneyland? Yes! Many people don’t realize that they can get married at Disneyland until their wedding day has passed, but you can get married almost anywhere. Disneyland is one of the most popular Los Angeles and Orange County wedding venues for good reasons. The fun doesn’t stop once the ceremony is over; you can spend all day exploring the sprawling amusement park.

Disneyland has been a popular amusement park and wedding venue since it opened in 1955. Since then, it has grown from a moderately sized park to a sprawling complex with six sister locations worldwide. The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, however, will always be the original.

Bluff Park – Long Beach Wedding Minister

As a Long Beach wedding minister, I have been to Bluff Park hundreds of times for marriage ceremonies and on leisurely walks. The grassy Bluff Park stretches along almost a mile of cliffside overlooking bright yellow sands and an azure ocean. The height of Bluff Park above the beach presents unobstructed panoramic views of the Southern California coast, stretching from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Huntington Beach and beyond.

At one end of Bluff Park sits the charming Long Beach Art Museum. Its signature dark brown wooden exterior makes the building itself a Long Beach landmark. But venturing inside and to the museum’s quaint courtyard greets you with its modest but stunning art collection. For a catered wedding reception, your wedding entourage can dine at Claire’s at the Museum.

Rancho Los Alamitos – Long Beach Wedding Minister

As a Long Beach wedding minister, I have gotten to know the city well. One of my favorite Long Beach wedding venues is the calm and secluded Rancho Los Alamitos The Rancho was built in the early 19th century during the late Spanish rule of the area. At one time, the Rancho was given authority over nearly all of Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Garden Grove, and Stanton. Today, the Rancho is confined to a humble hill in the center of a quiet Long Beach neighborhood, reminding visitors of simpler times. The original ranch house still stands today, enveloped by tree-lined courtyards and lush gardens.

Getty Center – LA Wedding Officiant

As an LA wedding officiant, I have been a part of civil ceremonies at every venue imaginable – large ballrooms, small restaurants, very public amusement parks, and intimate backyard hot tubs. But the Getty Center, with its sleek but stunning architecture and its massive collection of artwork, is one of the best and will surely enchant every wedding guest, not to mention the lucky couple.

La Wedding Officiant

Sustained by the J. Paul Getty Trust, the Getty Center opened in 1997. The complex’s unique white facade is uniquely modern while still calling back to previous eras of human history. The Getty Center finds itself straddling two ridges on the outskirts of the city bordering the prosperous Bel Air neighborhood. Its prime location offers some of the best views in Los Angeles. In the foreground sit beautiful mansions, and in the distance high-rise buildings mixed among the unique neighborhoods that provide Los Angeles with its charm.

Point Dume – Getting Married in LA

In my four decades as a wedding minister in Los Angeles, I have officiated thousands of ceremonies at numerous wedding venues for people getting married in LA. Some of these venues I have only been to once, others multiple times. Few, however, are as popular as Point Dume. I have been fortunate to be part of dozens, if not hundreds of wedding ceremonies at Point Dume. Every time I’m here I am taken aback by its awe-inspiring natural beauty.

Malibu is known for its beaches and cliff sides, but nowhere are the two appealing wedding day features more majestically melded on this stunning promontory. Jutting outward from the hills and slicing the beaches below in two, the Point Dume promontory has unrivaled views of the Pacific Ocean and the distant Channel Islands.

Hilltop Park – Wedding Officiant Long Beach CA

As a wedding officiant Long Beach CA, I have taken part in numerous ceremonies at Hilltop Park. You don’t truly realize the height of Signal Hill until you’re at the top. From ground level, it seems like a minor bump in Long Beach’s otherwise level terrain. But at Hilltop Park, you’re greeted with breathtaking views of the entirety of Los Angeles County.

To the south the Long Beach skyline soars above the rest of the city. Farther in the distance to the north the astonishing high-rises of Downtown Los Angeles declare themselves the heart of California. On clear days the completely unobstructed mountains display themselves in all their glory with snow-covered faces or verdant visages depending on the time of year.

Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens – Pasadena Civil Ceremony

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens was founded by railroad magnate Henry Huntington in 1919. Today, after more than 100 years, the Huntington Gardens haven’t lost their charm. This Pasadena civil ceremony venue (actually located in the affluent suburb of San Marino) draws visitors from across the world for its diverse foliage and serene beauty.

The Botanical Gardens spread over 120 beautiful acres. It comprises multiple themed gardens, including Japanese, Chinese, Australian, California, desert, and many more. Walking between every garden, you feel like you are walking across countries and continents; it truly is hard to believe that every one of them is in the same sprawling complex.
